"We couldn't be happier to cancel our auto insurance policy with State Farm effective immediately. After using State Farm since I was 16 years old (I am now 50), the treatment and inconsistencies in service, coverage and rates the past 6 months has been completely unacceptable. I have called at least 4 times and asked to speak with Leslie and she never has called back or returned our messages. Does she even exist? And if she does, what type of business are you running that clients with decades of coverage with State Farm and thousands of dollars of insurance payments from auto, home, jewelry and umbrella are unable to speak with her? In all my years with State Farm covering 9 vehicles and 5 houses with no accidents or claims, the entire handling of a minor accident in a parking lot was unacceptable. At best this should have been a no fault accident. AND the State farm agent that I called from the accident scene told me to not call the police as it was a parking lot and fault wouldn't be allocated in a parking lot. So from the accident scene to the agent I spoke with several times on the phone about the accident, I was told this was a no fault accident and I was not found at fault. Yet, a few months later, we received our annual policy renewal and out auto insurance had tripled!!!!!! Additionally, they do not have the ability to repair our vehicke with a repair shop in a 50 mile radius of our home. I called several times about this situation as we spent hours and hours trying to find a repair shop that was under agreement with State Farm. Finally, we called in a favor at the dealership and we had the vehicle dent repaired for free. Our only expense submitted to State Farm was the brake light, which after deductible was was a small payment from State Farm. Our entire experience this past 6 months has been subpar and frankly disturbing. We have felt ignored and at risk of coverage if a real accident were to happen, not having a repair shop nearby that is approved by State Farm. We were able to secure Libery Mutual auto insurance for less than our original auto insurance before the insane rate hike."
